A classic of French desserts : the Iles Flottantes.

Sweet souvenir from a French childhood.

Easy to prepare ; you only need two eggs and some milk.

Yellow Tartelette

At the beginning was Griottes’blog.

Emilie, the French food designer behind Griottes, recreated popular Pantone colors as fruits tarts for a spread in Fricote Magazine (food magazine for urban jungles).

Gorgeous !

I try my own version of pantone 109C + pantone 146C with a lot less talent for pics.

However my ‘tartelette’ with remaining compote and puff pastry was nice to eat.

My first steps with puff pastry ! I was quite nervous.

Finally, i’ve got my own Chaussons aux pommes.

-1- Choose nice apples

-2- Make your apple compote

Apples + honey + spices + bay leaf + sugar + vanilla + water

-3- Make your first puff pastry

-4- Eat your homemade chausson aux pommes

Bunny & Caramandes

What did you do for Easter ?

Did you eat chocolate ?

Do you want a nice French address ?

If you come to Angers, Lille or Paris, ask for Caramandes at Benoit. Caramandes are caramelized almonds coated with black chocolate.
